A friend from college has written a book (Solitary Genius) about a year she spent working with special needs children. Check it out at iUniverse or Amazon. I just learned of it today so I can’t give you a review. Given that I have another 500 pages to read in Team of Rivals, it will be awhile before I can pick it up.
