Without the fundamental 3 R’s of “reading, riting, and rithmatic “, giving students “tools” that require those fundamentals to use productivily is a total waste of time and resource. (Surprise, Surprise).

We need to get back to the basics in primary education, and yes hold back failures until they learn/earn promotion. Getting results, not “they went thru the process” should be the criteria for passing to the next level.

I hope you keep enjoying the Peter Pan syndrome (“I’ll never grow up…”) for many more years. When “Shad-O, and Sky-Lark” arrive you will keep learning every day for years, and years. Lots of new experiences and wonderment.

Hopefully “I’m too young for this ” will go on for years before being replaced by “I’m too old for this”.
