Being typical

This describes the reading habits of Heather and I with scary precision. I wouldn’t say I have shelves of unread books, but more than I would like to admit.

  1. Generally, if I pick up a book I will finish it. The times I don’t finish are because I’ve invested time into a third of the book or more and I still hate it. I read probably 3/4 of Michael Pollan’s “A Place of My Own” before giving up. I want those hours back!

Anyway, how can you normalize book reading to a point where you can get some meaningful poll results?
